Car insurance for summer only?

I recently treated myself to a convertible...don't know why when I live in the UK but hey ho! Anyhoo...I was wondering if there an insurance policy that covered me for driving the car in Summer but that would cover me to keep it garaged throughout the Winter. Does anyone know if such a policy exists?

Might be worth trying e-car. Don't know if they do it with a car but DH had pay as you go monthly insurance on a scooter (e-bike, part of same group), you just insured for the months you wanted to use it but I don't know how it works for no claims bonus.0

You can only use NCB on one car at a time.
If you've bought a second car, you'll have to start from scratch, or use your other car's insurer who might 'match' the bonus on your 2nd car.0 -
google "laid-up insurance"0
