Cash4opinions

Hi, I am new to this...
Does anyone have experience of opinions4cash (or cash4homework). Sounds too good to be true. Is it? Thanks in advance for any info.

Never heard of them but the usual first words of advice are, "If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is."
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
  • hi i have looked at this also and would steer clear of it as anything offering you all this can't be right!!if it was everyone would be doing it

I'd say this was a total scam.

Golden rule is you should NEVER have to pay for YOUR services.

I'm registered with numerous on-line opinion websites (MyTNS, Pinecone, YouGov, etc). They are FREE to join and they do send you 10 minute on-line surveys. They pay around 50p-£1.00 per survey. It takes a while to get upto £25 payout, but you do get there.

This gives you an indication of the true value of an online survey (and not opinions4cash's £5.00 per survey). This is a very high amount and clearly designed to tempt the inexperienced. Why would companies pay Opinions4cash big money when YouGov charge pennies?.

Also, no contact address/telephone number. Just an email address which can be set up in minutes for a few quid. Website looks good, but the link it refers to is a single page, couple of typos and not very 'big marketing company' in look. In fact, looks like a 13 year old has done it.

Also, they don't show up on a google search. At all. How can an on-line marketing company which boasts such big contacts get ANY web traffic if it doesn't actually exist on the web. How did you even find this website?.

In summary. This is a scam. They will take your money and disappear/fob you off if you complain. They will also likely sell your email address to subsidiary con merchants who will also hit you with 'great money making opportunities'. The only way to make money is to work for yourself or as an employee for someone else. No such thing as 'easy money' I'm afraid.

Their parent company High Impact Media is based in Virginia, USA. There is no company called High impact Media registered as a company at Companies House in the UK. Suspect the US company are legitimate and unaware.

If you do a google search for their UK address you get -

    JE Music
    020 7690 7606
    216, Ridley Rd
    London
    E8 2NH

(their address is on the 'send cash to... page'.

Doesn't sound like a big marketing company to me. Sounds like a legitimate shop in London with a flat above the shop let out to someone. That is where your cash will be going.

Remember Grange Hill?. Just say No.
