Travel insurance for someone with PCOS

Hi, how is everyone this evening?

I am about to book a holiday (flying off in 3 weeks - not ad a hol for 2years), I have been searching around for cheap insurance.

The last time I visited the doc was 9 months ago for a repeat prescription.

I have asthma (controlled by inhalors) and PCOS (polycystic ovaries, a hormonal imbalance) which is controlled by diet and exercise.

when I look at the terms and conditions of the insurance most say call if you have received medication or seen a doc in 12 months.

Obvously, I need insurance but can anyone recommend somewhere for insurance?

Thanks

i know more than let you put in pre existing medical conditions and quote you, they also allow you to exclude them if you want
i ended up going with them as they had the cheapest quote once i put in my medical condition

You have the same conditions as me and I went with Tesco. you do have to call them (so no cashback deals) but mine did not go up at all but it was noted. I think it is more for things like heart problems or previous ops and the like.

Just to add, I would NOT exclude your asthma, different temperatures, air quality, foods, bedding, furniture, etc... anything different day to day can lead to an attack and it is surely not worth risking if travelling overseas. Your PCOS is a different matter and is up to you but I've lost an ovary because one of the cyst I had did not burst and it all happened in days from getting the pains to being in hospital having an ovary and 10cm cyst removed. It can happen anytime without warning so please, please do not go without being insured for the sake of saving a few pounds on Travel Insurance.

Hi, Thanks for the response. God, no, I would never travel without insurance just in case something happened. Last time me and my hubby went away, he almost got run over . He looked the wrong way    . I need the insurance just for him  .

I will look round for the best deal - hopefully next year, my PCOS wont be so bad as I would have lost loads of weight, and chilled out (main reason for the holiday).

    Take care
