Hi Martin
Last year I started a claim against citi cards for my bank charges through the
financial ombusman after a few weeks i received a standard letter from citi cards laying out there proceedure for handling complaints, i sent them the
ten pound fee to obtain my statments 3 further letters later i finally
received the statments, the claim statment was quickly compiled and despatched again no response a further statement was sent along with previous copies of letters that have been sent to date, with a final warning of legal action, realising that there was a test case running i put the matter on hold untill this month, in an attempt to kick start the claim against citi cards a new final demand was despatched again with copies of previouse
letters that i have sent, again i have been ignored, next week I intend to send the file back to the ombudsman but I am wondering whether or not that citi cards have achieved the higher ground since they have been succesfull in
fobbing me of through out to date I have received 2 standard letters and one requesting £10 for the statments.
is it game over or is my claim still achievable?
any guidance would be much appreciated,
