Hotel near alton towers

I am travelling to alton towers tomorrow and need a hotel as close to the attraction as possible I will be travelling on the A50 from Nottingham any help greatly appreciated.

The 1st one thing springs to mind apart from the various B&B's in Alton itself is the travel lodge at uttoxeter on the island where you turn towards alton.

Taravelodge at Utoxeter, virtually on the doorstep

Hi and thanks for the quick response do you know the name of this lodge I have looked at one and its £50.00 per night as I haven't booked in advance.
Is there any codes for the travelodge, need to book tonight or in the morning.

Actually there is either the travel lodge or the premier inn - both are just on the A50

Thanks for the info but the cost is £67.00 for 1 night 2 adults 1 child, looking for below £50.00 anyone help need to book soon hope to travel today.

Thanks looks OK may book this one although I would prefer one a little closer and maybe Nottingham side.

I know the rooms are booked now, but the Chained Oak is a pretty good place to stay...
