    So what?

Given that she has Freeview reception where she is going to be living, just buy a cheap Freeview box, or MUCH much better, a Freeview PVR (dual tuner out of choice) to go with it, after all, surely she will want recording capability of some sort anyway, as a whole generation has never watched TV without that abilty!

Seeing 19" DVD/Freeview LCD tvs are often about 200 quid, you can probably get that with a PVR for that sort of money, and I know which would be the better setup.
  • good price but.......does anyone else think it looks rotten with the dvd player at the bottom,it looks like an after thought,i personally would probably spend a little more and get one with the dvd player built into the back of the lcd

The image looks as if the TV's widescreen, yet it's 4:3 - just incase someone hasn't realised!
