I am naughty.........I've found a hotel........I can get the room for £25 a night with a 'Martin special' deal.......I can check in at 11pm when the train gets to Leeds......

I now need to find a way of justifying a £110 train ticket...........

Evening all. Just a flying visit to let you know Casper is home and settled in. He was a bit skittish last night when we got back but has really relaxed today, enough to zonk out for ages in the middle of the floor:D

Going to have to go cold turkey tomorrow. Work's beginning to build up a bit and after Friday off I need to get my head down:eek: :(

All sign of the bleeding is gone and I think I felt a little movement or two this weekend (kind of like a butterfly kiss on the inside...):j

Wasnt there someone offering you a lift up K? Cant remember who it was now:confused: Would it not be cheaper to drive up or hire a car?

not a chance :( I have a phobia of driving :o:o:o Even driving to somewhere on the edge of Poole makes me sweat and shake.......:o I'm ok with well known routes but I couldn't drive anywhere else without days of planning - and I'm talking driving to places in Bournemouth here :o I dread Christmas parties my OH goes to as they are always hotesl in the back of bloody beyond in Bournemouth and I get so freaked out.

Last night my OH was at a birthday do in Ferndown (5 miles or so). He said it was the pub on the main road through and I was ok with that (just!) as it's near the Health Authority I've been to 3 or 4 times over the years. He got in the car and smugly said 'bet you had to look at a map when I was in the shower' - nope I said :) He was very shocked! He then though (this morning) said I was a rubbish driver because I slowed right down at a roundabout instead of just going across it (he was late and wanted me to rush!) - I said 'well, thanks. You know I hate driving, I take you somewhere which I was just about ok with and you say i'm rubbish - cheers for knocking me'.

I think Leeds would be about a 7 hour drive from here. It's 6 hours to my parents in Grimsby.
