  • A scam is also something whereby people try and pretend you're a competition winner and tell you yo've one something, hiding the details of it, and stil expecting you to pay for it. I suspect that's wh ythey've been investigated over their 'sales' technique.

I'm glad you had a good time with them, but there's more than enough evidence out there for me to doubt their claims - the bad absolutely outnumbering the good.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

  • My husband and I have just returned from a holiday at the Marriott in Majorca. It was wonderful, the resort was great, the weather warm and we missed all the snow. This holiday was our first "swop" with Interval International for our Seasons Holiday timeshare. We chose to go to the Marrott timeshare talk to compare what we owned against what they were selling and the Sales Advisor confirmed that we have a good deal with Seasons. As a means of seeing the world by swapping your week(s) Seasons is a good product to have. The maintenance that we pay for our 2 red weeks is a fraction of what we could pay for a off-season week at the Marriott.

Like a lot of people on this forum we also received a winning letter and we were also very sceptical but decided to have a cheap week in one of their resorts by paying the maintenance asked. We had a delightful week in Clowance, listened to what they had to say and walked away without paying another penny. However along the way we decided to "buy in" and have upgraded to 2 red weeks which suit our needs better. We have used 5 of the seasons resorts in the last 18 months and have been very happy with the accomodation, facilities and entertainment that has been on offer.

As far as competitons entry goes a sensible person knows that everytime you fill in an entry form you are giving your details for marketing purposes. Seasons doesn't make everyone a winner, my sister-in-law entered 5 different competitons trying to get a cheap week but still hasn't won. We are going to use the referral system to get her the same deal.

I know that my ramblings here are going to be commented on the many anti-seasons critics; howver, there has to be two sides to every argument and we like the Seasons Holiday concept and are happy to say so.

Like lots of others, my first thought on receiving the letter was one of distrust. Having read this thread and others, it's obviously a scam. Anyone who says othewise, must be shareholders in the scamming company.
Had this thing not so long back with Club LaCosta, another scamming company, most likey owned by the same scamming shareholders.
I enter competitions and would never pay anything to anyone. You have won, you dont pay for it,
Pontin's for me and my family again this year I think. Unless I win a gunuine bone fide competition that I pay nothing or sign a contract to claim.
Not been in here for years. Life got hectic!
