hi
going to look at a bungalow. been on market for over a year. Started at £635k sold for £600k then fell through. Back on at £580k sold for £550k just fallen through.
On a large plot for demolition and rebuilding a house. I really don't think it is worth any where near this amount.
once take into account build costs, stamp duty etc, and continuing house price falls you would be making a loss.
Is it worth even making an offer yet, as I really can't see them taking anything less than £500k if that.
Any ideas welcomed

has it got planning permission ?
why did 2 sales fall thru ?0 -
hi
no planning permission yet, but fairly certain in this road. Also I think sales fallen though due to buyers getting cold feet in this market.0 -
Why not wait, then?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

It's worth absolutly zero.
That is, it's worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.
So far, no-one is prepared to pay what the buyer wants.
It's worth what you are prepared to offer for it.Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.0
