AVG Free not updating again...

... My AVG Free (v8) is not updating this evening. It is saying it fails and suggesting I try later.

There's no recent posts on here so that leads me to two conclusions:

It's a problem at my end; or
Everyone's watching Big Brother.

I suspect it's the former?

XP Home, Windows Firewall. Anything else relevant?

Does this a couple of times a week on mine too, i just right click the icon in the bottom righthand tray and update now, then it updates fine, it can be annoying, but then again its free!!

I just switched on my laptop and got the failed to update error, right clicking and selecting update now found an update but the connection with the update server failed.

I've never seen either of these errors before !
