Credit Card Application

in Credit cards
I applied for an HSBC credit card, I bank with HSBC and I was told my application had been accepted and my card would be sent in 10 days, I have now got a letter says they need to discuss my application.
Does this mean I not going get the card? And would this have an impact on my credit file?

I would say they just need some clarification on some issues for security, good be ID confirmation or signature confirmation. It'd be nothing to worry about.0

could also be that you said 'no' to payment protection, they will probably try to sell it to you when you call them.
