Fab info on washing machines

Deep in despair as ailing washing machine finally died a death.
Had a quick search on here to see what peeps recommend if I chose not to get another Hotpoint and found a post by Ethanol suggesting a look at :

I'm glad that you managed to get a good deal on your new washing machine.

I agree that www.washerhelp.co.uk is an excellent website and the washing machine repairs section is great. Quite a few mse users have managed to save money by being able to solve their own washing machine problems rather than calling out a repair man.

I have to agree with both of you! Andy at Washerhelp is an absolute 'mine of information' and was really helpful to me 2 years ago when our Hotpoint washing machine finally gave up the ghost after 13 long years of abuse.

He gave me all the pros and cons of the Miele, Bosch and Dyson machines I was then comparing and even contacted Miele to get a reply for me regarding a 'cold-fill' query I had asked him - way above and beyond the call of duty - so I only have praise for him and his excellent site. :T

Boy, is that man passionate about washing machines!! What he doesn't know about them simply isn't worth knowing!
