Hi, I've never done this before so some help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a website and hosting already, I am looking to purchase three domains to point to this site...
Am I right in thinking that all I need to do is buy the domains without any extras?
Right now I'm at 1&1 - the domains are available (it's 2 .org.uk's and 1 .co.uk) and they'll cost £12+VAT for two years...
I've heard that 1&1's customer support isn't great, but would I need it ever for just pointing to another site?
Would they charge me to move the domain to another registrar after the 2 years?
Is there a cheaper or better service I should consider?
Thanks!

I used http://www.domainmonster.com/ - it was £2.95 for my domain name, plus couple of quid surchage/admin fee, but then its 2.95 per year to keep it registered to yourself.
It was quite easy for my host to import/transfer this over too! Some hosts charge a few quid admin fee for the transfer, so check that out before hand too.
Hope this helps. :beer:0 -
Hi , I have over 1200 domains , for .co.uk use 123reg , no hidden charges ,have used for 5 years ,they are ok....zee0

Thanks for the advice, but 123reg would charge £16.74+VAT for the same service...
Domain Monster would charge £17.70+VAT
Is there a particular reason not to use 1&1?Haikus are easy
