......for the basic cover. You could always Google for something to add as a decoration. Good Luck !
Yes Alwaysachoice, we suffer from the same problem me thinks.
I like the little black cardi too Titch28 but haven't any wool for that yet. Another good pattern to print off and add to the collection. Good find.0 -

Further to the posting about the knitting patterns, please take care if you're knitting a swimsuit. My mother knitted one, and it looked great until she went in the sea for a swim. I'll leave it to your imagination, but just think how wool stretches when it's wet!!!0

I'm a real knitting adict. I knit for charity, friends and family and just about anybody who needs any done! It's a great past time and you can produce some lovely items. Find a bargain wool shop though as some specialist shops are very overpriced.
Try charity shops for wool and needles plus buttons or sign up to your local Freecycle site:-
www.freecycle.organd find your area, (in Britain as it brings up USA first). Ive had loads of stuff for nowt from this site. You just need to pick it up!
Go to http://www.knittinghelp.com/ which has all the instructions from casting on to finishing off your garment! Pick an easy item like a scarf or blanket squares at first so you can practise.
Go on, give it a bash!
Good luck!:beer:0 -
Im another knitting addict so thanks for the patterns.:beer:0

I have some old knitting pattern books, so if you really want to cut back on your utility bills, I have knitting patterns for:
lace camiknickers, vests, woollen footlets, socks, ribbed or mesh stockings, as well as scarf & glove sets, jumpers, etc. And, of course, the latest fashion item you must have - a matching bag & glove set! Or if you are off on holiday, a lovely knitted swimsuit!
I would love to see these. Is there any way you could photograph them and post them on flikr? That would be great. :T0 -

Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative to the Alpaca wool for the cute little black jacket? I'm a bit of a novice knitter and I'm reluctant to spend nearly £30 on yarn when I'm likely to mess it up!
