Wonder if anyone can answer this question for me please?
Can a portable dvd player be plugged into tv/video combo, and used as a dvd player through the tv as well as be portable?
My DD wants a DVD player for Christmas and I thought that this if it is possible would be a better option.
Thanks in advance for your help

Yes - they will normally use RCA cables, which can be plugged into a little adaptor (£3-ish) which goes into your Scart socket.
You might want to check first though - look for the word "RCA" or look for three plugs like these:.jpg)
Search ebay for "Scart RCA" for some convertors and cables. Computer games shops are also a good place to get these as Playstation 2s use RCA as well.0
