What's the worst that can happen now?

I disagree,
Yes a ccj can be issued without an address, however this is because the hearing has been held and a decision as to who pays what reached, this is all post small claims court hearing.
But this is not the situation for the op, The small claims procedure needs to be gone through first, they still need an address to serve papers on you, (i understand an email address is also acceptable). If they cant fill the forms in with an address they cant file the claim.
You cant proceed with small claims against just a name. otherwise how does mr john smith still get finance?

edited to say, look at the online forms, see if you can fill in without an address or not.0 -
But, on reading this, LL could pursue you for one months unpaid rent plus costs and also keep the deposit, as you obviously left without the normal formality's. Doing a runner puts you in the wrong, legally. And of course, no previous LL refs for next rental.
The worst that could happen now, is that he is a secret believer in BaAL, and will call in a horde of deadly flying monkeys to pull the very flesh and marrow from your feebly twitching body
Actually I gave notice (to move out on the 20th) and due to a bank error the rent never went (although it showed as having gone of my a/c on the day and then came back) He never mentioned the rent hadnt turned up until that point and due to problems in the house the internet was off so couldnt check days later and why would I anyway. I then decided to move out on the 11th and let him keep my deposit as by that point there didnt seem much point exchanging the exact same amount of money in such a small amount of time.

Hello,
Where can I find out if he has initated procedures??
I really dont want to give him any addresses as I find him very threatening (part of the reason I moved out as he used to let himself in the house when it suited him and he's a big bloke and im not a big lady). My parents are not young and I dont want them getting involved nor do I want to give him anyone else's address as I wouldnt like to put anyone under that threat...

read my posts, you cant proceed without an address, so your not being claimed against.
for re assurance, go to CAB, or contact local county court who would deal with the claim for advise.
tbh you sound like a bit of a worrier and so need concrete facts from those in authority, i dont think anything people say on here will be enough for you, seek it from the above.
But dont give your address out in the mean time!!!!!

lol yes, I can worry about nothing and everything. He just sounded so confident on my answerphone and I thought well why would he say that if he didnt have at least some grounds?!?!

Sounds like you need to ask santa for a bull !!!!!! detector this christmas!
seriously tho, Go get the proper advise and put it to bed!
Good luck

I would change your phone number if I were you. If a landline, you can just let BT block 'threatening' calls. If a mobile, just get a new sim.0
