How much mortgage could we get?

Or you could just wait a couple of years, whena 5 bed detached house with a double garage, 10 acres of land and some stable will cost you under £100k.
Start saving.... a lot.
Anyone who sits on the hands, saves and waits out the market will be able to buy a nice place OUTRIGHT with their savings in a couple of years time.
Seriously?
I live in East Sussex and being able to buy a 3 bed semi would be a dream come true for me, and buying it for cash would be just beyond belief.0 -

Bear in mind with shared ownership you might be able to get a mortgage for 60% of the value but you also have to pay rent on the remaining 40% of the house so will be paying mortgage and rent.0 -

hi
Have been on holiday for a couple of weeks to sunny Florida, sunning ourselves on the beach. But back to reality now.
We have had a house for in Woodley for a long time - it's my children who are finding it hard to buy a house now.0
