    Thanks Dragon..we will do it!!!!...
Had quite a good day today though quite busy.Firstly I went to DRS and I now have a form to go for an x ray which I'll be doing on Monday. Then I took all my library books back so that I didn't get any fines. Then I went to Comet and bought a new hoover.I always buy a Dyson as I have an old dog that malts really badly. There is nothing wrong with the Dyson I have but it is too heavy and hard for me to push with my bad hips and back.So I bought the new Dyson Animal the price is £299.99 but they had it VAT FREE so that was £44.70 off straight away and they also had the Dyson Clean up kit should be £25.00 but got it for £12.50 and I had £200 of PO vouchers(from when the car hire people gave them to me for their poor service) so all in all it cost me £67.78....Bargain or what?????
Then I went to Asda for some shopping and though DH doesn't drink a lot they had the 15 packs of carling 2 for £16 or 3 for £20..so bought him 3 ..so he now has 45 cans for £20 whereas it normally costs me £3 for 4 cans so a massive saving thereand they will last him weeks.
Then I filled the car up....then I came home and tried the new hoover out and have hoovered the whole house including atairs and can't believe how much easier it was so am really happy.
The other thing is I have an old dog and he won't be with us much longer. He is the quiet timid type and my DD has a rottweiler whos a big softy she'sonly 18 months old.She is used to DGs and DD needs to get rid of her I was wondering how to introduce them to each other with a view to moving her in here.Has anyone got any ideas?
  • Sounds like a busy day Taxi..For advice on introducing the dogs to each other, pm Pania or Miz as they are the experts in this area..

Hi ISOM..I sent P a message..thanks...just had a scout around the internet and seem to have found some information. My weight does have a bit to do with my back problems but have had the problems on/off for a lot of years even when I was 10 stone. She has put on the x ray sheet suspect facet arthritis.
Had to laugh at you thinking of me when you see other taxis..nice to know I'm in peoples thoughts.

hi taxi, i can sympathise on the needing to lose weight, i darent' even think about the hundreds and hundreds of pounds i need to lose.
We had an engineer out to our washer yesterday and he's gone away leaving it unworkable, whenever you turn on the water to it, it doesn't stop it just keeps flowing and then pours out the overflow for some reason. We're stumped at how it's getting to the overflow but know there's definately something wrong with the bloomin machine.

Hi taxi, I hope the dog introductions go well. I don't know much about anything re dog intros, losing weight or back problems, or even x rays come to that (pretty clueless, hey!) just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you too.
