Yes you can. You can use it on any other shirts that have had accidents, unless they're silk shirts, of course.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

But it's not a bib I need, it's a qualified washerwoman.
I'm sure it's beer on the pink one. I think it was the first time I wore it too, and I've only worn it about 3 times.
I thought you had more than your fair share of proposals on OS.
I too recommend ace bleach. You can use it on colours too, well I have.
Also Napisan might be worth a go. (Its a cheaper version of vanish) Just add to the wash or even add a spoonful to a bowl of water and soak the shirts.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

Not wishing to be contradictory, but I wouldn't use bleach on clothes. I use an aerosol spray stain remover called DeSolve It, which is in the laundry section at Morrisons. It's citrus based, apparently, and it has worked on everything I've used it on so far. It smells horrid, but a small price to pay.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

Will it work on really old stains?
I'm just a victim of circumstance really. If I were an All-Blacks fan, we wouldn't be having this conversation! :rolleyes:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
I have these sorts of problems a lot with my sons sport wear - and often on materials that cannot be bleached.
I find the Vanish spray on - not the powder rubbish you put in the wash but the liquid for treating spot stains excellent. Also the old Vanish soap bar - but they can be difficult to find these days. I just spray it on to the actual stain (quite heavily) and then load up the machine. It mustn't be left to dry btw. Since this stain has been washed a few times I would spray it with the Vanish (both shirts) and then give it a bit of a scrub with a nail brush and then pop in the wash.
Another option would be to soak in bio-tex - but this "could" just make the other colour run - unlikely unless the water is too hot - but then your are a fella:D .
Both of these get quite a lot of use in my house when I am washing 22/24 rugby shirts (red and white stripes:eek: ) for an under 14's Rugby team! And I do pride myself that most of the white stripes are still pretty white:o .

As a woman - I have long since come to the conclusion that only men who have never been in charge of anything as complex as a washing machine:rolleyes: would choose to put any kind of a pale colour anywhere near a rugby pitch or a football pitch!

And you should try getting the flaming dirt out of the patch of a pair of cricket whites that gets all the attention when bowling!
