Ok then, while I'm at it, what about my nice pink shirt? Surely I can't use bleach on that?

If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
MR B E, it looks like it could have grease in it? Which would mean it isn't beer - could it be from an oil based sauce (coz I get that a lot)?
If the bleaching doesn't work I usually find (only for a precious garment) stain devil followed by a hot wash sometimes works. No comment on my favourite - new - purple t shirt!
Good luck and please report back....
This is for the rugby shirt - I can't see the pink shirt!0 -
Hmmm - Mr B E, methinks perhaps you need a giant sized bib! :rotfl: *frantically heads her wheelchair in the direction of the door*If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Fair comment, I suppose.
But it's not a bib I need, it's a qualified washerwoman.
I'm sure it's beer on the pink one. I think it was the first time I wore it too, and I've only worn it about 3 times. :mad:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Ace bleach for clothes is very good it won't take the white cotton to a different shade as it's made for clothing. Probably worth the investment for such a special shirt!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

It could be, I suppose. It actually looks worse in the photo, but it must be quite bad if I'm noticing it enough to be concerned. The odd battle scar on a rugby shirt is quite acceptable, after all.

Is that readily available in, for example, ASDA?

Yes it is. It comes in a pale blue bottle I think. It should be around the washing powders, might even be top shelf stuff!!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
