Didn't think I'd have anything to add today (day off :j ) but just checked my accounts and have had some annual interest paid into my day to day account of £4.71 so have moved that to my savings account before it gets eaten up by who knows what.

I kept a spending diary last month (first time I've managed to for a WHOLE month) and spent £250.04 on "stuff" £294.69 on shopping for 5 of us and had 10 NSD:dance: . The "stuff" included bus fares, clothes, toys and erm... a £20 Princess dress for my daughter  - in my defence it's a reversible dress so therefore it's 2 dresses for £10 each!!!!!

I'll keep one again this month and see if I can do better.

So £25.53 so far! Now I'm just praying the couple of things I have on ebay, sell.

    Good day today.

Ooh I also topped up my phone at Boots with a voucher and got a £5 skincare, £5 No7 and 20 advantage card points! Not sure whether to count those towards my total though.

Have added in my £15 from quidco into my sig :)

If I was going to buy something anyway but use amazon vouchers that I have got for doing surveys, would that count into my total...?

    Sorry, I'm a newbie :D
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.

  • Please add me to the challenge, I lost the thread and just found it (I started myself on the 1st) £10 per day is my aim.

I picked up 4 mystery shopping jobs @ £10 each so a good start for me
I won't buy it if I can make or borrow it instead

Did some clicks and surveys this morning (tried at least - kept getting screened out ) requested the £1.20 ( I know I won't spend it all at once!!) that was in my rpoints account and have a little bit on it's way from quidco - but don't count these things until they're in my bank account.

Got a Mystery Shop to do tonight but again I only count those when I have the money so I know it's all gone through ok and I can work out expenses, tax etc and just count the profit. Means my total will hopefully go up a fair bit in the end of the month this time round ;).
