Wow!My colour is purple too and I keep changing my mind about my dress, all I know is it has to be a deep rich purple, and not too fussy. That dress is perfect.Did you get the shoes and wrap from coast too?Did you go for a purple theme throughout or just for your dress?

Oh well, they only have it left in sizes 6,8 and 10 so no good for me I am afraid.Shame,I would have loved to have tried that one,it looks perfect for me.

It will be gorgeous. My colour scheme is the same as yours but I have a year to go so dont have it all pulled together yet.I will have my girls in lilac but the older one may prefer silver, have still to find dresses. My son will be in lilac and silver waistcoat and the men in purple and silver waistcoats.

why dont you ask the seller or sellers like landy/milly to make the dress but without the train??

I have some other pics of dresses that I like too (one much more than this one even), but I'm trying to find someone local to make it perhaps. I'm sure that some of the Asian sellers on eBay could do it, but they're largely sweatshop-supplied, which would sorta go against our lifestyle and ethos for the wedding. I don't mean to belittle the other buyers, they're just not for me.

  • Have you seen the video on Milly's homepage?
Doesn't look like a 'sweatshop' to me, looks better than some factories I've seen over here!!!

I haven't seen the video, as I have a new computer and haven't worked out some bugs with Flash just yet. :( However, a video on the producer's own site would fail to put my mind at ease. Chinese workers are afforded very little protection under the law, and I simply would not feel comfortable purchasing from there. I don't intend to start a lengthy debate, I was explaining my reasons for not going to one of these shops for a custom-made dress.
