Acer Aspire 3680 upgrade

Options
Have borrowed an Acer aspire 3680 from a friend which i might buy, it only has 512mb Ram, have googled upgrades and have discovered it can take up to 4gb, and plenty of guides about how to do it, just not what sort would be acceptable, am probably looking to get about 2gb, as that would be plenty, but the price of it will be influential on whether i buy it or not!!

Are you sure it can take up to 4GB? More like 2GB. Acer Aspire 3680

    1 GB 12.72 inc delivery.

If out of stock, it is 13.99 here, but email the vendor first to confirm compatibility.

    What's the sale price?

I thought 4gb sounded a lot, read it in a couple of places though

    Thanks for links

Oh and the sale price is £175, which seems pretty good, it's in near perfect nick, and has had a clean install of Windows XP, which IMO is better than Vists

£175 is IMHO too much for a 2 year old laptop. I would offer £130-150 :)
