About to go abroad

Hey, need to draw on the wealth of experience here. I'm about to go abroad (Paris) and wanted some advice on spending out there. Ideally I would like to put everything possible on Credit Card while I'm out there but is this likely to have charges etc?
I have two credits cards: Egg Money and Nationwide Gold
I also have two current accounts: Nationwide and A&L, both with VISA debit cards. What's the best way to do it?
Obviously I don't want to be drawing out money on the credit cards, but would the debits be ok. Or should I just exchange a bunch of money before I go there?
Any tips welcome.

Use the Nationwide cards, forget about the others. Use the debit card to withdraw cash and the credit card for purchases. That way you'll get the best possible exchange rate and as much as possible put on the credit card. Don't exchange money before you go, unless you want to take a few notes in case you have trouble finding an ATM when you first arrive.
It's all described in this article: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/cheap-travel-moneyLet's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon

Fantastic, I knew Nationwide must be good for something. So as long as the money is there I can just debit the whole way!0
