DHL Redelivery - You must be joking - they'll return to sender rather than redeliver!

At 1925 on Bank Holiday Friday night 22.08.2008 DHL attempted a delivery to my address. I wasn't given a choice for delivery. I was just expecting it sometime. I certainly didn't ask for a delivery on that day or at that time.
I was out. Their hard luck or mine? These things happen, right?
Anyway they left a card inviting me to visit www.dhl.co.uk/redelivery to rearrange delivery at a time to suit. I chose yesterday Thursday 28.08.2008 and received an email confirming it.
I was in all day waiting for it.
Today I contacted the supplier to see if they could trace it. After an hours investigation they discovered it had been returned to sender and arrived back with them today.
So don't use DHL - they are not interested in achieving a delivery. After one attempt, they prefer to send things back like this irrespective of what you arrange with their computer.
Oh and you can't call them. You can only call a computer.
Rip off merchants. No other words describe cr*p like that.
