As a result of forum feedback we have been in contact with Pizza Hut and it has agreed to extend its 50% off voucher to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

U.K. = Great Britain & Northern Ireland.
But I know what you mean, it all gets kind of confusing doesn't it.
I was in Jersey the other day and I thought they were U.K. but technically they are not. They are however part of the "British Isles", hmmm so what about Falklands, Gibraltar......etc geez wish I'd listened more carefully to that Geography teacher now........ hmmmm no i don't.
Just found on wonderful worldwide web, not that I'm bored or anything lol
hey this map is great, actually very informative, clears up a few arguements between me and a friend...thanks

I just tried getting my 50% off voucher for the Pizza Hut deal thinking,"Well, the kids are back to school next week , we could maybe afford to take them out to Pizza Hut for a bite to eat, especially if there's money off (cushdie!)", only I got to the section where it asks for the county you live in so that you can select your branch of 'The Hut'. Apparently the offer only applies to 'mainland' UK. If you live in Northern Ireland, you don't exist in the eyes of the Pizza Hut Empire. Funny that, I thought we lived in a country of 1 and a 1/2 million potential customers. They can do without our business obviously. I must go and make a batch of potato bread and soda farls. That's what we eat over here, apparently.
It's because like may things, Pizza Hut in Ireland is an all-island affair who run their own promotions.

I don't really get how Northern Ireland is part of the "British Islands" when it's demonstrably not an island, but oh well.0
