Damp - fixing people in Sutton area, Surrey

Hi all

we're just about to complete on our first house (no comments on time to buy please) and there is quite a bit of damp that needs sorting professionally. Can anyone recommend someone not too expensive (we're FTBs and money is tight this month) but who can do it properly? We're in Sutton, Surrey.

Don't get a damp proof company to quote on an injection based solution. They dont work.

However to treat damp properly you really need to coprrectly diagnose what is causing the dampness. This is the hard part and is really what you are paying a professional damp-proofing company to do. Virtually all damp-proofing companies who are worth their salt are members of the Property Care Association.
