How are you feeling yourself Toto? You're about into the final countdown stages aren't you?

Well, I had the mother of all migraines yesterday which was murder. But, I woke up today with no headache which is the first time in over 2 weeks, so I'm feeling quite good today.

I'm 29 weeks tomorrow so I guess I am on the home straight now, to be honest it can't come quick enough for me. I'm starting to get a bit more organised. I'm going to sort through the stuff we have bought for the babs today and put it away in the drawers.

We're still all up in the air over work though. Hubby is on tour all through october, he then has left 2 weeks clear around the due date but is off on a US tour from Nov 23rd onwards for a month. Trouble is, obviously we just don't know when this baby will come so he could be sitting here for 2 weeks waiting then as soon as he goes, out she pops. Or she could come early while he is away in october.

The thing is our lives run around diaries and schedules, we just can't do maybes, it has to be firm bookings through our agents, so a little one thinking they have 2 weeks either side of a due date to appear just isn't working :rotfl: I tried to explain this to the midwife but she just looked at me as if I was a bit odd. Her thoughts are, it's an important event so if hubby wants to be there then he shouldn't go away in october or november. Trouble is a) we can't afford to miss out on 2 world tours and b) in this industry you have to look after your gig. If he deps both tours the chances are he will lose the gig to the dep.

So, when I see the consultant i am going to request a due date induction if she hasn't been born by then. We did look at being induced at the portland but really that is stupid money (around 5k) so that's right off the agenda.

Sorry for the rant lol, you won't ask again will you :rotfl:

toto - ask the consultant about due-date induction as s/he might be more understanding than the midwife.

I'm off to hang out the washing and then I'm offski to the shops. I need more ginger biscuits (Wayne's using them to asuage his nictine cravings, but he's doing really well at the mo. The real test will be the weekend so we'll have to see how that goes.
