I'm back. No pictures but we heard the baby's heartbeat steady as you like. The little blighter kept wriggling away from the mic so obviously healthy and active. To take it easy and go back if there's pain/more bleeding but less worrisome at 16+2 than at, say, 10 weeks.

Big sigh of relief. Hubbles took me for a lovely lunch down in Irvine by the harbour and we got stuff for Casper coming home tomorrow. Was actually really nice to sneak in an extra day together, even if I could have done without the drama!

Thanks for all your lovely support:grouphug:

That's good news.... you just take it easy.

Well you'll find yourself pinned to the couch this weekend with your new furry lapwarmer anyway!!

My cat does that, and you really cannot move without upsetting her something chronic, so i just stay where i am instead....!! she doesn't like it when i have the laptop on my knee, as she views it as her space... so she does something inhibitive like sit on my arm instead, so i eventually give up and let her on for a cuddle!!!

The joys, you'll have to post pics of Casper when he arrives.....

Pics will definitely be posted! I'm so excited. We got the litter & tray, scratch post and bed in Argos today. Aunt J is giving us a month's supply of food to start off with which is ace of her and some toys and a blanket he's used to so he can settle more easily.

Not sure if anyone has told you but when I was pregnant I was told not to touch the litter tray because of germs (cant remember the exact germ but quite dangerous to pregnant women) so my oh had to do the deed instead!

Just a thought in case no one has mentioned it. :D
