It was my Gran's funeral today and we ordered a load of deli platters from Sainsbury's which my Dad collected this morning.

I was really impressed with them. The food was all high quality and very fresh. It was well presented and looked attractive. It tasted gorgeous and we got loads of compliments about it.
If anyone needs catering, I would highly recommened these platters.

Sorry about you're Gran.
I can also endorse the recommendation. My daughter had an engagement party last weekend and used a lot Sainsbury's platters. Various selections but mostly sandwiches which were fresh and generously filled with good quality stuff. When you consider the time and effort involved to buy in the food, prepare sandwiches etc. it's well worth getting these ready mades.0 -
We have used them 3 or 4 times and always been happy too0

We use the Sainsbury's platter service for meetings at work because it's nicer and cheaper than in house catering!
I'd recommend the Best of British platter any day.0 -
Yes the platters do look good i admit as i know someon who makes them at sainsburys :-). One thing i would say is that the sandwhiches are not made on the premises and are took off the snack fridges in store. It maybe worth, if you have the time to do it, by looking to do them for yourselves but ask at the delicatessen whether they could give you a base and lid for free or nominal fee. Worth a go to save a few pennies?0
