Hiya all
Windows were trying to install an update of Service pack 3, but it failed, with the message Windows could not update this file, please xheck that you have the correct file on your PC - Windows32 something I forget what the rest said, but, I dont have a clue what to look for or where, surely windows should know the facts about my PC, they download all the info not me?
If anyome has had this same problem or anyone can advise me on what to do I would be extremely grateful. Thanks.

As Tom says, google the error you get, or post the error message as it appears for others to help.
It may be that you just need to clear the update cache, and MS are normally very good at supplying solutions.0 -
Thanks for that peeps. Windows cannot copy the file winlog exe
C'\windows\system32, is this correct if not change it and insert 'Windowsxpsystemfiles in the drive you specify.
