    Gosh how rude !
Where I come from, inviting complete strangers to comment on a friend's private financial affairs and calling his sanity into question on the Internet, is just a little bit rude. But each to their own. What does your friend think about this discussion?

Sorry to of upset you Running Horse but we are friends and discuss stuff and listen to each others ideas. He told me he wasn't sure what to do for the best and asked my opinion so I thought I'd gather some advice from people who know more about this sort of thing than me so I can pass it on and maybe help him.
Didn't mean to question his sanity so sorry maybe "mad" wasn't the right word to use ! I have no wish to upset anyone so do you have any ideas how to cancel this thread ?
  • The problem with internet is that people take things litterally. To me, it sounds like the OP is genuinely concerned about his friend and wants to help him make the right decision. Nothing wrong with that.
