My Dishwasher is Broken

I have had my dishwasher since 1987, and it has seen some very good servcie, but just recently it has started to act up. Some of the plates come out all greasy and the pans, it is like they have seen better days.
Well, to cut a long story short and after the failure of my lunch box the otehr week, I have come home tonight to find my dinner on the table as usual, which is always nice when Lady Freda does a stormin' Chicken Korma (PM and I will send the recipe). Now, I have just got me a pint of 'Cotswold Sway' from the firdege and I find the pots and pans every where. My dishwasher of 21 years has packed it and it is outside on the patio sipping some nice Australian wine.
Do you think I should trade in my dishwasher for a younger model?

I would highly recommend an Angel INA JoeLEE. It's a quality model but is high priced0 -

:rotfl: :rotfl: I got right to the end before I saw where this was going :rotfl: :rotfl:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
My washer went the same way a few years back.
One of my shirts came out all pink and I complained heavily.
SUDDENLY.... NONE of my clothes were getting washed at all.
Unfortunately there is no easy fix, maybe if you increase the "nice Australian wine" supply for a few days.
Then threaten to cut off the supply as there are no clean glasses.;)“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -
A friend of mine got the sack for sticking his finger in the bacon slicer.
The bacon slicer said she got the sack too.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -
If Lady Freda is heard to say "the dishwasher is broken-I'll have to get a little man in",she might be having similar thoughts to you.:rotfl:
I notice you said you come home to find your dinner "on the table".How would you feel if she handed it to you on a plate?0 -
Why don't you offer Lady Freda up on Ebay ? Point out the good bits ie Storming chicken korma maker but you need to be honest on the bad bits like the fact her washing up skills have deteriorated over time and that she has a passion for Australian wine. You never know you might get a decent offer to enable you to make a down payment on Lady Freda mark 2 .
Then again you might just prefer to join her on the patio before all the wine is gone!!"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

The Op should be thoroughly ashamed of himself. Leading us fellow MSE'rs on like that.
I ask you, who ever heard of anything Australian that was nice, apart from Nicole KidmanIt's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0
