Right, my Netgear seems to be on the way out, the DG834G. The wireless keeps dropping off, and has patches when it continues to not work at all, even with the wireless device right next to it. So I'm basically looking for a replacement, needs to have ethernet ports as well, and preferably one which will support a tomato flash. So any ideas?

No. for me it's intel, and on another machine it's netgear. What might cause it to drop, and what might the solutions be? Oh, and can I stick tomato on it?Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

With the alternative firmware you might be able to increase the power and get more range, and you might find it's a bit more stable so it's worth a shot if it works on your router. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0

It does allow firmware updates, but maybe not tomato. I'll look into it.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0
