Topping up a mycashplus gold card

I am aware that topping up at the post office takes one working day for the funds to appear in my account.

I am wanting to top up £100 at an e-pay outlet, but i am unsure what this means - ""At an e-pay outlet
If you visit an e-pay outlet you can top-up any amount from £10 to £150, in multiples of £10. The e-pay outlet will charge you £2 per top-up and your money should be available in 30 minutes.""

Does this mean i would have to give them an extra £20 just for the pleasure of topping up £100 ??

Its £2 per topup so a topup of £100 or £10 or £150 would cost £2
  • Great stuff, i will get myself down to my local filling station.

Thankyou for replying to my post.

Yeah i managed to top up my card earlier, at an e-pay outlet(not payzone). you can also top them up at the money shop apparently.

the information they have on the mycashplus website is quite confusing imo. I might email them and inform them of this.

do you have your card registered on with paypal?
it's a very handy card to have

  • I'm sure some of these pre-paid credit cards can be topped up at any pay point. cant understand why mycashplus have not added pay point to the list.

Topping up is the only downside to the card at the moment. i'd be delighted if they work on ways to get money on the card instantly.
