Hi, I have a 10 year old daughter who is desperate to buy some shares (we start 'em young round here), does anyone know a broker who will deal with young people, or at worst a UK broker that runs a 'guardians account' whereby I can buy shares in her name??
TIA,
Tony.

Hi Tony
Im assuming that you were not really wanting to give your daughter several thousand pounds to play the markets with, although if you are, I'd reccomend a share dealing account from selftrade, where she could do it all online. (Plus they do a £50 free each when you reccomend a friend which i could give you details for)
Anyway, if youd like her to get a little practice in, there are literally loads of virtual ones online, playing agaist the real markets, but with virtual cash.
Theres a list here:

Good luck to her (and you!)
