£250! That's all that's holding me back! Argh!

Hi-hi.
After suffering from depression for a few years, I've finally had to drop out of university for failing one too many times. I'll most likely complete my studies some time in the future, when my mental state is a bit more conducive to studying. When my tenancy at my current house ends (at the end of this month), I'm thinking of temporarily moving into my parents' house while I save up enough cash to afford my own place. But, there's just one problem I need to deal with first: I owe my current landlord £250 for this final month's rent. And he's getting keener and keener on getting it by the day (not that I can blame him).
I have just under £10 left in my wallet for food. I've maxed out my overdraft at Barclays, at about £1,500 overdrawn, and they won't raise it any higher thanks to me having been overdrawn further than my agreed limit for the past 3 months (I got careless). Plus, being unemployed right now, there's no way I can get any sort of loan from anywhere. Borrowing from family or friends isn't an option, either - I don't know anyone well off enough to part with that much. And my deposit money was only £100, so that wouldn't be able to cover it, either.
£250 seems like such a small amount compared to some of the debts I've seen on here, but when all I have is £10 and no hope of getting hold of any more any time soon, it feels like a heck of a lot! This £250 is all that stands between me and a relatively fresh start, but it just seems so insurmountable right now!
Anyone got any suggestions?
The one possible solution I'd thought of was to take advantage of a second overdraft by opening up a new account with another bank. All I'd need is £250 (though, £300 would be handy). But, being unemployed, would I even be offered an overdraft? And would it be available immediately? I do need the cash pretty soon.
I can't see any other options, other than my last resort: selling off my possessions. This really isn't a particularly appealing prospect to me. Most of the things I own (TV, DVD player, etc.) are fairly old and cheap, so they wouldn't make me very much at all, but would be costly in the long-run, when I eventually come to replace them. Ironically, the one thing I own which would get me a good amount of cash is also one of my most prized possessions: my laptop! I really, really don't want to see that go, but unless I can come up with any other ideas, that's what I'm going to have to do.
Yep, this isn't looking too good right now.

Move back with your parents and tell the landlord you don't have the money but you will repay it at £x amount a week until you've paid it all back.
Unless your parents can bail you out I don't see any other options.DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Unfortunately, I'm moving town at the end of the month. I'll get any job I can after I've moved, but I doubt my landlord's going to want to wait that long.0

if you can move back with your parents, is there a deposit that the Landlord can retain as payment?
Good Luck0 -
Whoa. Fast replies! My SOA is a bit of a mess right now. I don't have anything coming in, and I barely spend anything, either. Just food and toiletries, and not very much on either.
I like the idea of arranging an £x a week deal, but my landlord won't. Still, I think he might grudgingly agree, if that's the only way.0 -

Ah, that's a good idea. I might give that a go...
Thanks for all the responses so far, everyone! There's some things I need to attend to now, but I'll be back on later tonight.0 -
