I'm in East Belfast, but they're not cider apples, in fact I've no idea what sort of apples they are but have used them for everything from desserts to currys and just plain eating!0

They do beer and wine, the husband does the beer side of things and the wife does the wine side. I got my father quite alot of things from it for a retirement present, and now i'm benifiting, only one problem its all white wine he gives me as he drinks the red himself.
Blackadder, I looked for this yesterday and can't see any sign of it? The website is down and the phones aren't being answered. Any ideas???0 -
I have just made a batch of cider, juiced apples, added cider yeast and have left it. Not sure what it will turn out like! How long do you leave it for before drinking?0

I called into Nature's Way and they were very helpful. Was talking to some members of Belfast wine-making society down at Garden Gourmet too, they meet once a month to swap tips and ideas if that's any help.0

If you are unable to source winemaking yeast, bakers' yeast will do. It may not have such a high alcohol tolerance, but you should get an acceptable wine from it.Saved over £20K in 20 years by brewing my own booze.
Qmee surveys total £250 since November 20180 -
