need help clearing up photos

Options
Im looking for a programme that I can download for free that will clear up a pixelated photo if you zoom in, you know like they use in some police programmes when they can zoom in on a blurred image and it clears it up, there such a thing?

CC limits £26000

Long term CC debt £0

Total low rate loan debt £3000

Almost debt free feeling, priceless.

Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.

Not really, the problem is you cannot make silk purses from sows ears

You could try Gimp, and the sharpen facility, but if the original is cr*p then that is what you have

Try Picknik free and you don't download any software.

Depends on how bad the original is, but it improved the quality of lots of my old pics.

Indeed. If you don't have the resolution to start with, you're a bit stuck. Photoshop has a resampling feature which will carry out a certain amount of upscaling, but it's not going to turn an indecipherable blob of pixels into a hi-res masterpiece.

I use Photozoom pro. You can get the free trial to see if it would work or not.. Has some good results but like others say it depends on the starting photo
