Spotlights

I need some advice. We currently have a flourescent strip in our kitchen which I would like to replace with one of those strips of spotlights that you can get where the lights are angled in different directions. Is there a right and a wrong type to buy? My OH is useless and this kind of thing and we would have to get an electrician in to fit it. The ceiling currently needs re-artexing due to the old boiler flue being removed so might as well get it sorted now.

Also on the subject of lights, what kind of lights do people have in their bathroom these days? We just have an ordinary light fitting (close to the ceiling type, obviously) but is there something more up-to-date I could get put in before we have a new bathroom fitted?

thanks

Ellie

I have got the spotlight/track ones from wilko for my bathroom which were £15.99 each, i needed 2 but it is a very big area. They do cheaper ones from about 7 quid. my builder recommended them as you then have less gloomy corners, cos you can put the light where you want!

If you ever get to go to an ikea stock up on bulbs as they are v cheap there.
