Credit Expert - further checks needed?

Hi all,

Not sure if I'm posting in the right place.

Just went to the credit expert website to get my report, and after sign up it said they need to carry out further checks on me first, this should take up to two days?

Is this normal or is it an indication something's wrong with my credit file?
(I've not long moved home, could that be it?)

Also, I'm getting my report to check for possible fraud against my name (I posted on here about it at the time) - maybe that's an issue too?

Almost certainly, IMO.

If you've moved recently, your details may not be on the electoral roll at your current address, which means Credit Expert cannot check your ID electronically.
