I have finally managed to get myself a new tv for the bedroom but the plasterer has finished the room and i am now left with my new tv on the wall with no where to put my sky box! we have put a terrestrial ariel in conduit already so i either need to know if it is possible to get a scart lead that you can take the big connection off to feed it through the conduit or find a wireless method of getting my sky + to the lcd screen? anybody any ideas? all suggestions greatfully recieved.

If you know someone handy with a soldering iron you could make up your out scart lead.
Your Sky Box has an RF out, so its just a matter of connecting the TV Aerial lead to it and tuning in your TV. Downside bing the picture wont be as good and your sound will be mono. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Hi. I had this problem with kitchen tv. I bought a "sender" unit from Argos, they do several. I then didn't have enough scart outlets on lounge tv so bought a scart splitter & plugged the sender unit into scart splitter. The buttons on the splitter are used to either view sky in lounge or kitchen & skyplus works too. Hope this helps.0

Your TV should take HDMI lead?
Will that not fit through the conduit?0 -
My lcd does have the ability to take a HDMI lead but what do i connect it to on the sky + box? i have looked in the sky+ manual and it does not mention having a HDMI socket?
please help

Sky + doesnt have hdmi.
So your options are ~
Get a sky HDTV box which DOES have hdmi (and is a far better connection)
get someone to solder up a scart for you
Or wireless as you said (But the quality will be highly questionable!)
Personally for now, i'd wire up a scart somehow if it was me doing it.:idea:0
