No ALG or EMA...Now what?

Ok so I’ve just got off the phone to my college who let me know that I’m not entitled to EMA or ALG, for the last 3 years I’ve been receiving EMA now currently half way through a 2 year course and 19 I’m no longer able to receive EMA due to my age.
So I tried to apply for ALG but because I’d taken a level 3 course previous to my current level 3 course I’m apparently not entitled to ALG as it’s for first years on level 2 or 3...
So my question is: Am I entitled to any other education allowance? Can I get a student loan?
I ask this because I really couldn’t hold down a job with the work load on this course. I live at home with my parents and I’m in no receipt of any benefits.
Hope someone can help,
Thanks.
