but time now for a grown ups trip ....

often heard bits about inland majorca being very beautiful with some very luxurious hotels / retreats etc ...

Puerto Pollenca is hard to beat - low-key, low rise holiday resort which is not ultra smart/expensive but not full of the 'fish and chip mob' either. I also like Puerto Soller though that's very small...but it's pretty much unspoilt and has the feel of what I imagine a 1950s Spanish seaside town was like, before mass tourism.
