british gas
I caped my gas with british gas before the price increase this month with Gas Price Garantee 2009.
I did this over the phone.
I have just recived the terms and conditions and it says that...
"Price guarantee December 2009 is not avalible to Gas customers only or prepayment customers. If for any reason such a customer is registered for PGD 2009, we reserve the right to switch such customer to our standard variable rate"
I am a gas customer only.
They were fully aware that I was not an electricity customer when I signed up to this...... the normal sails pitch being given to me, to try and get me to switch my electricity to them also.
What kind of guarantee is this?:mad:

You haven't met the conditions of the offer, which is for dual fuel only, unless you don't have gas.
Presumably the 'normal sales pitch' for electricity was them attempting to explain the above conditions?0 -
