I wanna find a restaurant that serves Steak on a stone!!!

I really cant remember the name of it but it was upstairs, quite open and they may have had raw kebabs on show outside (quite strange). Sunshine definatly makes a difference, could do with some of that to go with the restaurant i'm looking for.

Would you believe my boss mentioned the other day " i had a lovely steak the other night it was served on one of those stones you were on about!!!" so not only has she found somewhere close to me but i also know the food is good!

My OH is obsessed with steak on a stone after having it in Germany so after a lot of research I emailed the company that make the stones and asked them which restaurants used them. They were really helpful and found me two near my home. We went to the Chetwode Arms in Warrington last weekend and it was great! I think I may be obsessed now!

There was a good Steak grill (stone cooked at your table) in London a couple of years ago at a place called Prohibition in Bishopsgate.

I most recently had a meal in Lowestoft at The Black Rock Grill whilst on holiday at Potters Leisure Resort - it was amazing. I know it's a little far from the Midlands, but definitely worth a trip if you are in the area.
