Best Printer?

Options
Hi,

My nephew starts uni next month and needs a printer. Can anyone suggest a good printer that doesn't cost an arm and leg for replacement cartridges.

Thanks

Justin

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Just bought myself an HP C6280 All in one, very impressed with it so far.

Bought from the HP Online shop, and using a code found on UK Hot Deals got the price down to £85 ish.

It uses individual ink cartridges, i.e. 6 of them, and will do automatic double sided printing.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
  • B/W laser are the best way to go up to 7 thousand per toner refill.

    Printers from £22 !
  • My son is at uni too. He has an old samsung black and white laser. The print quality is very good and the toner last for ages. The toner can be refilled for around a tenner. Ebuyer are doing an updated model to his at the minute here http://www.ebuyer.com/product/148076
