Credit Card Reclaiming

Options
Hi everyone,

am working hard doing as many money saving things as possible. Had written to all my credit card providers about 6months - 1 year ago trying to reclaim charges. Some had written back saying "no". Should I try again! Is there a follow up template letter! (I am currently 35k in debit but not on a DMP at all, just working through it myself and paying repayments every month) Should I refer to "hardship" or anything when writing to them again. I just think that every little helps and these companies take charges at every opportunity, so really want to get some money back if possible.

Oh, what if i've closed the account on a couple of the cards. Can I still write to re-claim?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    hi

as for reclaiming credit card charges its fairly straight forward. in almost all cases you will have to take them to court before they pay up in full. you can claim back 6 years of charges. i believe there are template letters in the menu bar above if you cant find them shout and i or someone else will paste a link for you.

as for the rest of your post i think a different forum would be able to offer more help.
