so wondered if anyone knew what the following stores are like? (bargains, clearance shelf, availability of cheap time delay/lash extensions mascara (none in slough *sob*) nice sa's who accept vouchers etc!) Also hoping*** that one of them will have self service!
Windsor
Beaconsfield
Maidenhead
Gerrards cross
TIA
P.s My points are now down to £30 something from over £100!! However will i get them back up to £100 by xmas:eek:
I went to Windsor store a couple of months ago - it was very disappointing I thought, small and scruffy whereas I'd expected something bit more upmarket there. Don't think there were even any make up counters. It does have ACM and there was a small clearance shelf on the day I went but I don't think I bought anything. Oh yes and if you are with buggy, the shop is split level with no lift - loads of stairs to get to baby bit or else you walk round outside the long way. Not visited any of those other stores as I'm not from that neck of woods.0 -

Good morning all
I have to go to boots again as i keep forgetting the things that i am going for in the first place DOH! my OH thinks i should just move in to their stock room .....so far i have been in every day lol really want to go to the little boots where i live as they sometimes have a good clearance stand and i think would be more likely to have the N17 gwp.:A0 -
I have found a boots today with a supply of td moisturiser (old red packaging) at 75p.
1 Will I be able to buy 6 with one till spit?
2 And can I use multiple 200 point mag coupons in one go?
If the answer to 1 is yes I'll go back this p.m.
Had some good shops today but kicking myself I forgot to hand over 100 points on no.7 liplicious when I bought it with translucent powder in the brush thingy and got gwp for £15.75. I realise I might have been able to get another £5 off if I'd bought it in a shop with ss tills and used a pinky and a ts but I'm nervous of that one.
SA had mf bronzing gwp behind the till to tempt me but none out to "buy".
Thanks for any info on the TD0 -

Thanks for any info on the TDYes you can get more than 1 TD item with your voucher. some items I got last week were reduced (only £2.50 im my case:o ) so I got 2 and went through free with the till spit no problems. But you can only use 1 points voucher per transaction ( actually should be 1 per person as was pointed out by a (not so) 'lovely' SA the other day;) )This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Went to Maidenhead yesterday, and there were only TD wipes left to use with tillspits (didn't check the mens stuff). There is a clearnace stand at back of store (next to Pharmacy counter), which has lots of reduced hair stuff and jewellery (but only by 50%). Next to this is a hosiery section with reduced tights, etc (and you can use the 100 points from ACM machine when you buy boots branded hosiery with the reduced stuff). No TB bags left (although they did have reduced prices on sel, so they may restock). Some other beauty bags reduced though (boots brand). No No 7 beauty bags left, and have never seen Ruby and Millie bags or mirrors in this store.
Upstairs there is reduced stuff too, but the stand is not marked Clearance. They have lots of the Lavender and Damak Rose stuff (hand cream, washes, bags, etc) reduced by 75%. A few bits of Santuary range, lots of TB body lotion and body sprays (again reduced by 75%). Did try the FCUK bags yesterday that are on stand but no sel, but they scanned at £10 each so they went back.
Spotted a couple of reduced Vtech toys (by 50%) on normal toy section, but I didn't need anyone of these.
No reduced perfumes though (might have missed these)
Hope that helps.0 -

Morning!
I'm afraid I don't know how to do links to specific posts but if you look at the first post there are 2 links to show the best/cheapest buys with the skincare and No7 vouchers......."Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -

Last xmas they also had Ipods in the bigger stores. I managed to buy one during one of the xmas events (500 points per £50 I believe, plus the points coupon, and I think I used a double points from a mailing (back then I was still getting them!!)). When they reduced them in January, I got another one with points.
As for consoles, can't say I saw them at any of the London Stores. I did hear about the few 75% off PSPs and Xboxs that were briefly available on the web. I don't remember seeing them in the catalogue either. perhaps they were stock from 2006.
The catalogue is a great place to check out for purchases in terms of electronic gifts and save them for the special events days to maximize the points. Since some of these are the same price everywhere, at least boots gives 4% in points plus any extras we may be able to use (mailings, acm vouchers, special events, etc).
Thank you, thought they didnt. I am buying a DS and have loads of points on my Boots card to use which have been sat there for a while so wondered if I could use them up on this present.
Havent visited this thread in a little while, think I overdid the Bootsing in the sale and upto May time. I only get to the actual store once every couple of months and miss out on all the deals and there hasnt been much online recently. Also need to use the existing things I have before they go to waste.
Hopefully, with xmas coming up, my love of Bootsing may return.0
