...I'M BACK!!! :hello:
It seems like a lifetime ago that I was back in Lincolnshire chattering away with you all about crafts and Christmas!
Now I'm in Hampshire in my nice new apartment with my other half. The house move was a bit mad, we didn't have enough room for everything and so some boxes are still at my mums! We have a couple of things left to unpack here but today we got the internet and so I had to rush on here and let you know how things have been going!
I haven't been able to do much craft wise as I've been pretty busy but I have been working on the free cross stitch kit I got in cross stitcher magazine the other month. Its been nice to sit and work on it in the evening.
Sadly I haven't found a shop that sells cross stitch supplies so I'm still on the hunt for a few things for my planned Christmas pressies, which is scary as its nearly Sept and I haven't done a thing!
Anyway I hope to hear from you all soon to see how well you are getting on with your Christmas stuff and general crafts. Can't believe how much I've missed nattering to you all!!

Tell me about it! I've just sat through and read all the crafty for christmas pages I've missed. Makes me realise just how much I've still got to do!! And to top it all off I think the stress and running about from the house move has caught up with me I'm getting the beginnings of a wonderful cold hehe:beer: Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0

Hi Siren, great to see you back, looking forward to seeing things you make:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

Hi Rainmac!
So far I've made very little and this cold I'm developing doesn't help, although the other half is at home at the mo as he doesn't start his new job til next week so he let me sit down while he did the ironing. Which did allow me to virtually finish all the cross stitching on the butterflies and blossom kit from the cross stitcher mag so thats nearly one present done hehe:beer: Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -

There's a Hobbycraft in Mansbridge, Southampton, not that far off Junction 5 of the M27 which I don't think is tooo far from youHonorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. Oooooh I've never been to a Hobbycraft as there never was one near me where I was before. Will def have to check it out. Only bummer is right now I don't have my car here, so I will have to wait for other half to get some time off to take me. I've got him taking me out tomorrow and Saturday I think making him drive me there on Sunday is too cruel lol.
Rainmac - I've just finished the cross stitch part of it now for the backstitch. It seems to have taken me ages to do as there are a lot of fractionals which I've never done before and because all the pinks are very similar shades I got a bit muddled a couple of times hehe but it looks really pretty when its done!! Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0
